Form groups

Our form groups are organised and named after famous mountains.

We decided to use mountains as a theme running throughout our school as we likened the educational journey of our pupils to climbing a mountain. There is the preparation, starting from the bottom, hard work, the ascent and finally reaching the summit.

We aspire for all of our pupils to reach the peak of their educational careers by achieving GCSEs and reaching their full potential whilst with us.

All pupils have a Form Tutor and Teaching Assistant to turn to in the first instance with any queries or problems they may have. Form Tutors and class Teaching Assistants build strong relationships with parents and pupils in their classes and get to know them very well over their five years at Finch Woods Academy.
